Mental Health ECHO

Upstate Mental Health REACH Intensive workshop is an educational activity organized by the Department of Psychiatry as a part of grants from Patrick Lee Foundation and Mother Cabrini Foundation. The main goal of this workshop is to provide an update on the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders frequently seen and treated by primary care providers. The goal is to increase the level of competency of primary providers treating mental health disorders as they are the first providers seeing patients in the community.

This program is comprised of a one-day intensive workshop followed by weekly ECHO sessions (1 hr) Project ECHO platform where providers can join and discuss cases from their practice with our faculty.

There are 4 separate cohort sessions for this project. The first 3 sessions were held on April 14th, 2022, October 6th, 2022 and April 13th, 2023. The 4th workshop is March 16th, 2024. This workshop will be followed by 10 weekly ECHO sessions, starting on Wednesday April 3rd, 2024 12-1pm.

Workshops are made possible through the generosity of the Patrick P. Lee Foundation.
